James es una banda de música indie de Manchester (Reino Unido) formada en 1981. Su líder es Tim Booth. De su primera época hay citar los álbunes Stutter (1986), Gold Mother (1990), Laid (1993) y Pleased to Meet You (2001). Entre 2001 y 2007 se mantuvo inactiva. De la segunda época hay que citar los álbunes Hey Me (2008) y Le Petit Mort (2014). De este álbum destaca All I'm saying. La realización del vídeo es de Péter Vácz, que lo ha dotado de una estética artesanal de dibujo animado, el protagonista es un niño con máscara de zorro.

Gold, de Chet Faker

Chet Faker es el nombre artístico de Nicholas James Murphy (Melbourne, Australia, 1988). Su música electrónica es muy personal. En 2012 ganó en Australia el Records Independent Awards al Mejor Single Independiente por Thinking in Textures. En agosto presentó el vídeo Gold, canción que forma parte de su último álbum, Built on Glass (2014). El vídeo llama la atención por ser un plano secuencia en el que aparecen tres patinadoras por una carretera cualquiera en mitad de la noche.

The Writing’s on the Wall, de Ok Go

Ok Go es una banda de indie rock que apareció en Chicago (EE.UU.) en 1998. Es conocida por sus vídeos musicales, que llaman la atención por su creatividad. Con Here It goes again ganó el Premio Grammy al mejor vídeo musical en 2007.

El último vídeo musical de Ok Go es The Writing’s on the Wall, presentado en junio de 2014. Lo ideó Damian Kulash, voz y guitarra de la banda. Es un plano secuencia, en el que se juega con las perspectivas y hace preguntarse al espectador si las ilusiones ópticas son reales. Se rodó con una cámara de mano que cada participante en el vídeo fijaba en la posición que le convenía. Fueron necesarias cincuenta tomas hasta que el vídeo salió perfecto de principio a fin.

Jeffrey Brondsky (EE.UU.) ha presentado su último trabajo musical, el vídeo I'll be strong. Lo ha realizado en colaboración con Universal Everything. En el vídeo se simula la física del viento y su impacto en unos animales que corren hacia un volcán en erupción. El resultado está a medio camino entre la animación 3D y los juegos de sombra.

Lily Allen (Londres, Reino Unido, 1985) es actriz, compositora y cantante. Ha publicado tres discos, Alright, still (2006), It's not me, it's you (2009) y Sheezus (2014). De su tercer álbum llama la atención  el single homónimo. En él aparece Lily Allen como un dibujo animado, para conseguir ese efecto sobre su imagen se han superpuesto ilustraciones a color.
